Gang-rape and murder shocks South Africans

Anene Booysens was gang raped, mutilated and later died in a hospital in a crime that has shocked South Africans. South Africa has one of the highest rates of sexual violence in the world - police say about 64,000 sexual offence cases were reported last year.

Researchers say poverty, crime, unemployment, alcohol and drug abuse all contribute to sexual violence - but Booysen's rape and murder has got people saying that this sort of thing has to stop.
